GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE REGULATIONS OF THE ASSOCCIATION

The Name and the Center of the Association

Article 1. The name of the association is "THE CULTURE AND SOLIDARITY ASSOCCIATION OF THE TURKS OF RHODES, KOS AND DODECANESE". Its center is currently located at the following address: 1824 street No:2/C Yildirim Apt. Karsiyaka - IZMIR. The association has no branches.

The Aim and Work Form of the Association

Article 2. The aim of the association is to increase the solidarity and to maintain and teach the culture, customs and traditions among the Turks of Rhodes, Kos and Dodecanese who have immigrated to Turkey, to assist the institutions working for the preservation, protection and restoration of the works remained from the Ottoman Turks on Rhodes and Dodecanese, to make initiatives for the protection of their social rights including the rights for inheritance on Rhodes and Dodecanese, to carry out work for the maintenance and protection of the Turkish graves on these islands, to conduct work for those who have immigrated from Rhodes and Dodecanese to Turkey to obtain the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey and to carry out work for obtaining visas in the visits of the tourists. The association has no branches.

Article 3. With the purpose of achieving these aims the association;

a. Conducts social and cultural activities. In order to realize these activities, it cooperates with the public and private institutions. It holds meetings such as conferences, seminars, and panel discussions and organizes exhibitions, concerts, festivities and excursions.

b. Carries out various activities in order to increase the social relations, solidarity and cooperation between its members and the Turks of Rhodesand Dodecanese.

c. Conducts activities for realizing the mentioned subjects in its aims.

d. Purchases, hires and transfers real estate in line with its aims. Opens locals.

The other articles of the Association including the subjects such as "Income Sources; Bodies, Inventories and Registering Method of the Association" have been prepared according to the Law on Associations.
